Frequently asked questions
Your questions
Is my data kept separate from other companies?
Yes. Each company has its own space: your customers, prices, employees and finances are visible only to your members.
Do my employees need to install an app?
No. The employee portal opens in the phone’s browser. They sign in and see only their own jobs.
Can I keep my own rates?
Yes. Hourly rate, price per box, stair fees, distance and seasonal adjustments are set in your settings.
Can my English-speaking customers request a quote in English?
Yes. The quote form has an FR / EN button. A customer who picks English gets their emails, quote and invoice in English.
What about Québec’s Law 25 on personal information?
Trowelio was designed with Law 25 in mind and gives you concrete tools: data hosted in Canada (Montréal), a privacy notice in your company’s name, a consent checkbox on the form, access limited to your members, an action log and deletion of a request when a customer asks for it. Your company remains responsible for its own obligations: check your situation with your legal advisor.
I don’t have a website. Is that a problem?
No. You can share the link to your form by email, Facebook or Marketplace. And if you want a website, we can build it for you with the form already built in.
